Niece Jayanthi writes...
MY ATHAI
She came into my life when my Chittappa (father's younger brother) married her daughter and my Chithi became part of our family. The day I met her, I was a child studying in 2nd standard. As our interactions progressed over the years, I found her to be a kind hearted woman who loved helping one and all. She was a keen lover of art and crafts. I learnt a few of them from her. I remember her converting my pattu pavadas into kurtis. There are many more things that I loved about her. If I start putting down the list it will be a long one.
I cherish the memories I had with her over the years .
