I have so many stories but is there like a time limit 👀 Memories are rushing. From how she used to inspect my uniform for green tamarind (she claimed they gave me the mouth ulcers. She herself had a weakness for those 😆) - I picked an extra green tamarind for her 😍 to being the main culprit to indulge my sweet tooth (she made sweet chapatis and pottu kadalai ghee sugar if there wasn’t time for anything else like cake or chocolate) to me emulating her these days (of resting a brief while inbetween chores… irrespective of time of day). She told me once: always do the thing you love most first - your hobbies, indulge them. Because you will anyway finish your chores. And that’s the life motto I live by. Also one more. This happened when I was in college. I was juggling college classes, part time work at Ramco Systems and my Aptech classes. I would leave home at 7 and not return until after 9. Chari mama, on one of his visits, said, ‘Lathu-ve ippolaam paakkave mudiyala’. Paati quipped immediately, ‘naangaley avala paakarthu illa’ 😁😁 and we all burst out laughing.
